BRANCH OF LARGEST ELECTRICAL UNION IN THE WORLD ENDORSES DEMOCRAT RICARDO LARA FOR 50TH ASSEMBLY DISTRICT

8,000 Member-Strong IBEW Local 11 supports Democrat Ricardo Lara for Assembly

LOS ANGELES—Democrat Ricardo Lara today received the endorsement of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 11 for his enduring support of working men and women.

“I am proud to have received the support of the IBEW Local 11,” said Ricardo Lara. “Together we will fight for the American Dream… good jobs for every Californian.”

“The IBEW was formed to advocate for a safe working environment, higher wages, and health benefits,” Lara added. “This literally is the basis of my candidacy. I will work every day to make these things available to other Californians.”

The IBEW Local 11 joins the International Union of Painters & Allied Trades District Council 36, the International Association of Heat & Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Local 5, and the American Federation of Teachers Local 1521 in supporting Ricardo Lara for State Assembly.
